Mindfulness has its roots in Buddhism, and was later on introduced by Jon Kabat Zinn into the Western world. A lot has been said about the name or wording Mindfulness, is it a mind full of thoughts or what is Mindfulness really about?

Mindfulness is a practise of paying attention and observing what goes on in our bodies and minds. Mindfulness brings us from the constant doing on automatic pilot to really observing what is going on within ourselves. In this sense, it closely relates to our work in self-awareness, self-leadership and is an empowering tool in dealing with leadership issues, stress and difficult circumstances.

We offer the 8 weeks MBSR training program to expats in Amstelveen, as well as mindful leadership and meditation courses for companies.
